They met at a barn dance eight years ago, so the wedding went back to a barn.
The film is built around the letter his grandmother read aloud.

We started Late Light after filming a friend's wedding on a borrowed camera.
Behind
the camera
Most people remember a wedding by its big moments. We remember the hands: held under the table, smoothing a dress, wiping away a tear before anyone sees. It’s still what we look for first.
Vows, letters, and speeches are the spine of every film.
We direct for a few minutes and observe for the rest of the day.
A small number of weddings each year, so every edit gets our full attention.
Before you book
Questions
01How far ahead should we book?
Most couples book 12 to 18 months ahead. Peak Saturdays from May to October go first. If your date is sooner, ask anyway.
02Do you travel?
Yes. Travel within [150 miles] is included. Beyond that we quote flights and lodging at cost.
03When will we get our film?
Your teaser arrives one week after the wedding and your full film four weeks after.
04Can we choose the music?
You can suggest songs and moods. Every track is licensed, so your film can be shared online without being muted.
05Do you offer film and photo together?
We offer one or the other for each wedding: a film, or photography. That way you get a team focused on a single craft all day.
06What if our date changes?
If we're free on the new date, your deposit moves with you. If not, we'll recommend a filmmaker we trust.
